MONTREAL, Nov. 1, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Gourmands and gourmets get ready! Today marks the beginning of the TASTE MTL culinary event in over 125 restaurants across the city. An initiative of Tourisme Montréal, presented by the Produits d'érable du Québec, in collaboration with the SAQ, the second edition of Montréal Restaurant Week is on until November 11. Participating establishments will be offering table-d'hôte menus at the appealing price points of $19, $29, and $39, with some also providing a late night menu of $19. Media representatives are invited to participate in the gastronomic frenzy that will invade the city for 10 days and to capture images of the various gourmet activities taking place.
In fact, in addition to its restaurant component, TASTE MTL presents several activities related to good food and wine. From candlelight dinners on Mont-Royal Avenue, to singers from the Opéra de Montréal who will grace Saint-Denis Street restaurants with their presence, not to mention guided culinary tours, epicureans will be sure to benefit from this event.
