Media Advisory - From Sochi 2014 with love: CIBC celebrates hometown hero, Canadian Paralympian Gold Medallist Jim Armstrong at its Cambridge branch
CAMBRIDGE, ON, March 27, 2014 /CNW/ - CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) is proud to welcome home Jim Armstrong, who skipped Team Canada to its third consecutive Paralympic gold medal in wheelchair curling, to a community celebration on March 29 following his performance at the recent Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.
Please join us at the CIBC Cambridge Banking Centre at 395 Hespeler Road to celebrate Jim's return. To mark his performance in Sochi, CIBC will present Jim with a gold-plated coin and a personalized sports pennant commemorating his participation at the Sochi Games.
Jim will be available to speak about his experience at Sochi, his involvement with parasport and next steps in his athletic career after his second-consecutive Paralympic gold-medal victory.
