Scotiabank Pro-Am and encourages public to help 'stick it' to Alzheimer's
EDMONTON, March 2 /CNW/ - Six-time Stanley Cup champion Glenn Anderson will delight fans as he returns to Edmonton and takes to the ice once again on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the West Edmonton Mall Ice Palace.
WHAT: Glenn Anderson and other NHL alumni will team up with leading fund-raisers from participating Scotiabank Pro-Am teams and Edmonton media personalities for a lively game of shinny in a preview of the Scotiabank Pro-Am for Alzheimer's coming to Edmonton April 9, 10, and 11, 2010. The shinny game will be preceded by a news conference at centre ice involving Glenn and Scotiabank Pro-Am representatives. The Scotiabank Pro-Am, which began in Toronto four years ago, has raised more than $7.5 million.
