TORONTO, Sept. 16 /CNW/ - The fourth Scotiabank Women's Charity Challenge will feature golf elite, Annika Sorenstam and Natalie Gulbis. The day will include a nine hole shotgun tournament for participants and clinic conducted by the golfing greats. The afternoon will feature a nine hole exhibition match by Sorenstam and Gulbis that will incorporate top ranked Canadian Junior girls.
When: Tuesday September 21, 2010 ----- Event Schedule: 2:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. Clinic by Annika Sorenstam and Natalie Gulbis 2:45 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Media Session and Q&A with Sorenstam and Gulbis 3:00 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. Nine-hole charity challenge match featuring the six junior female golfers, Sorenstam and Gulbis Where: ------ Magna Golf Club, Oak Ridges Moraine, 14780 Leslie Street, Aurora, ON Who: ---- Golf elite Annika Sorenstam and Natalie Gulbis will be joined by six Junior Golfers from across Ontario: Jenna Hague of Burlington; Casey MacNeil of Massey; Meghan McDougall of Markham; Brogan McKinnon of Mississauga; Samantha Spencer of Georgetown; and Vivian Tsui of Markham.
Scotiabank and key presenting sponsors, Fidelity Investments, KPMG and Bell are hoping to build on the $700,000 raised for charities over the previous three tournaments. All proceeds benefit a host of women's charities across Canada. Recipients have included a variety of charities supporting women's shelters, employment services, treatment centres and cancer foundations nation-wide.
