OTTAWA, May 17, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science and Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities, will announce the winners of the NSERC Science Promotion Awards that honour individuals and groups who support science outreach to young Canadians across the country.
Following the award ceremony, the Minister will moderate a panel discussion with some of the winners of the Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF).
The event is taking place in conjunction with the CWSF and STEM Expo, as part of Science Odyssey, Canada's ten-day national celebration of science.
The Minister will be available to media following the panel discussion. All media are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes early to sign in at the reception desk.
