Media Advisory - Government of Canada to Commemorate the Centennial of the Start of the First World War during Winterlude 2014
OTTAWA, Feb. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - Parm Gill, MP for Brampton-Springdale and Parliamentary Secretary for the Minister of Veterans Affairs, and the Chief of Defence Staff, General Tom Lawson, will commemorate the centennial of the start of the First World War by illuminating an ice sculpture during Winterlude 2014 as a symbol of remembrance.
