Media Advisory - Government of Canada to make important announcement during Canada's launch of International Year of the Salmon

VANCOUVER, Oct. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard will make an important announcement about the protection of Wild Salmon.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada is leading Canada's participation in International Year of the Salmon, an internationally coordinated effort to highlight salmon and its importance to people across the Pacific Rim.
