PETERBOROUGH, ON, April 12, 2018 /CNW/ - The federal and provincial governments will be celebrating affordable housing in Peterborough, Renfrew County and surrounding areas on April 13, 2018.
Media are invited to join the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister of Status of Women and Member of Parliament for Peterborough-Kawartha, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), along with the Honourable Jeff Leal, Ontario's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Minister Responsible for Small Business and Member of Provincial Parliament for Peterborough, on behalf of the Honourable Peter Milczyn, Ontario's Minister of Housing and Minister Responsible for the Poverty Reduction Strategy, who will make the announcement. Daryl Bennett, Mayor of Peterborough will also speak at the event.
