Media Advisory - Governor General and Innovation Awards 2016 Winners to Take Part in the C2 Montréal Conference Français
OTTAWA, May 20, 2016 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will be among the world-renowned speakers at the C2 Montréal conference on Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at 12 p.m. Later that day, at 4:15 p.m, winners of the 2016 Governor General's Innovation Awards (GGIA) will also take part in a panel discussion on innovation.
During his presentation at the Forum Solotech stage, the Governor General will share insights from a lifetime spent learning and working in the crucible of innovation. In the afternoon, at the Big Top Québec stage, GGIA winners Robert Burrell, Jeff Dahn, Breanne Everett, Charles Deguire (for Kinova), Mark Torchia and Richard Tyc will discuss what it takes to foster innovation in Canada.
