Media Advisory - Governor General of Canada to Welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Français
OTTAWA, Aug. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston are pleased to welcome His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of his State visit to Canada, from August 27 to 29, 2017.
The visit will commence with an official welcoming ceremony. His Majesty King Abdullah II will then meet with the Governor General and attend a State luncheon in his honour.

Official Welcoming Ceremony
An official welcoming ceremony, with military honours, will be held on the grounds of Rideau Hall during which His Majesty will inspect a guard of honour.
