OTTAWA, April 25, 2016 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will deliver remarks at the Women in Communications and Technology Annual Awards Gala on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at 6:15 p.m., at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Ontario.
"Canada's success on the global innovation stage depends upon greater gender parity in all aspects of the digital economy," said the Governor General. "All of the award recipients have made outstanding contributions and, in so doing, have strengthened our communities and our country. I offer my sincere congratulations to them for this well-deserved recognition!"
