OTTAWA, June 9, 2015 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will deliver an address at the Intelligent Community Forum Summit. The event will take place at the MaRS Discovery District (Auditorium), in Toronto, on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 3 p.m.
The Governor General will highlight some of the key elements that go into creating an intelligent community at this international gathering of mayors, chief administrative officers, chief information officers and economic development officers from cities, states and regions from around the world. Following his address, he will participate in a question-and-answer period with the audience.
About the Intelligent Community Forum
The Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) is a think tank that studies the economic and social development of the 21st-century community. It seeks to share the best practices of the world's intelligent communities in adapting to the demands of the broadband economy, in order to help communities everywhere find sustainable renewal and growth. The ICF conducts research, creates conference content, offers educational and advisory services, establishes institutes and presents annual awards.
