Media Advisory - Governor General to Mark the 100th Anniversary of the National Research Council of Canada Français
OTTAWA, June 1, 2016 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will attend the 100th anniversary celebration of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and witness the transfer of the first colour-standardized Canadian flag to the Canada Science and Technology Museum on Friday, June 3, at 2:30 p.m., at the NRC Auditorium, 100 Sussex Drive.
The Governor General will deliver brief remarks on this occasion.
Media wishing to cover the event are asked to confirm their attendance with
the National Research Council of Canada and should arrive no later than 2:15 p.m. on the day of the event.
