Media Advisory - Governor General to Receive an Honorary Degree from Concordia University in Montréal Français
OTTAWA, June 2, 2016 /CNW/ - His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will receive a Doctor of Laws honoris causa from Concordia University, in Montréal, Quebec, on Monday, June 6, 2016, at 7:30 p.m.
His Excellency will receive his honorary degree at the beginning of the ceremony. He will then deliver a convocation address to students graduating from the Faculty of Arts and Science. His Excellency will also present the Governor General's Academic Medal (Gold) to Ms. Anne Almey, from the Department of Psychology.
