Media Advisory - Governor General to Receive an Honorary Doctorate from the Université de Montréal

OTTAWA, May 30, 2018 /CNW/ - Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, will receive an honorary doctorate from the Université de Montréal. The event will take place during a Ph.D. convocation ceremony in the Ernest-Cormier amphitheatre at the Université de Montréal on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 2 p.m.

Because of limited access, media wishing to cover the event must confirm their attendance with the Université de Montréal, and are asked to arrive at the Ernest-Cormier amphitheater (Pavillon Roger-Gaudry, 2900 Edouard-Montpetit Boulevard) no later than 1:45 p.m. on the day of the ceremony.
