LAVAL, QC, Aug. 20, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to the grand family celebration organized to mark the Alzheimer Society Laval's 20th anniversary. Laval mayor Marc Demers and a number of the city's elected officials will be on hand at the grand outdoor festivities, which will run from 1 to 11 p.m. at Parc de Lausanne in the city's Vimont district. Hundreds of families are expected to come out and enjoy inflatable games, miniature train rides, trampoline, magicians, crafts and other fun events. Laval firefighters will also be there with an exhibit of vintage fire trucks, and the police canine patrol will run demonstrations. The Cosmodome will be the site of various activities and the STL will present its electric bus. All proceeds from this day will go to the Alzheimer Society Laval, one of the largest in Quebec, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
