Media Advisory - Great Wall of Daffodils To Descend Upon Toronto
TORONTO, March 15 /CNW/ - The Canadian Cancer Society returns to Canada Blooms, the largest floral and horticultural event in Canada featuring six acres of stunning landscaped gardens and more than 100,000 square feet of green thumb shopping.
This year the Society presents the Yellow Beacon Garden - an emotionally inspiring landscaped garden featuring thousands of daffodils, a reflecting pond and stone message wall where visitors can write messages of encouragement to those touched by cancer.
The Canada Blooms marketplace will offer show-goers an opportunity to join the fight against cancer by purchasing daffodils in support of the Society's Daffodil Month in April, and leave a video message at the 'Join the Fight' kiosk.
To purchase tickets visit canadablooms.com, using the special promotional code DAFFODIL, or at cancer.ca, and Canada Blooms will donate $2 dollars to the Canadian Cancer Society from each ticket sold.
