MONTREAL, Nov. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - Greenpeace and the Cree Nation of Waswanipi invite media to two briefings in Montreal today where they will discuss their joint efforts to block a controversial logging project in the Boreal Forest and to challenge the two players directly involved.
Greenpeace forest campaigner Nicolas Mainville and Chief Paul Gull of the Cree Nation of Waswanipi will discuss their recent expedition in the northern forest of Quebec at the briefings. They will reveal a powerful symbol of the opposition of both their organizations to logging plans in the area of their expedition.
