Media Advisory - GTA Partners Launch World's Largest BioBlitz in future Rouge National Urban Park Français
TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Mr. Corneliu Chisu, Member of Parliament for Pickering-Scarborough East will launch the world's largest BioBlitz at the future Rouge National Urban Park and will announce a new collaborative agreement between Parks Canada and the Royal Ontario Museum.
A BioBlitz brings together scientists and knowledgeable members of the public to try to identify as many species as possible over a 24 hour period so as to document the biodiversity in the area. This event will run from Saturday, September 14 at noon to Sunday, September 15 at noon.
