TORONTO, April 26 /CNW/ - On Wednesday April 28, 2010, a tribute dinner honouring Canadian fashion icon and philanthropist Harry Rosen, for his successes and contributions, will be hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Diabetes is a disease which affects one out of seventeen Canadians today. The Harry Rosen Diabetes Chair in Stem Cell Research will support an outstanding investigator focused on applying state-of-the art stem cell biology and regenerative medicine approaches to further our understanding of the causes of diabetes, and to help develop a cure for this devastating disease.
Mr. Rosen considers community service an integral part of a business career. He currently serves on the Mt. Sinai Board of Governors; Ryerson University's Board of Governors; CAMH Campaign Cabinet and the McEwen Centre for Regenerative Medicine.
