Media Advisory - Health Experts Discuss Sustainability of Canada's Health Care System at Western Health Summit 2014
EDMONTON, AB, May 20, 2014 /CNW/ -Health care accounts for approximately 40% of Alberta's provincial expenditures. Yet, Canada's health care system performs poorly relative to countries such as Germany, Switzerland, France, and Australia.
The sustainability of the health care system, including health care funding and spending, along with primary care reform, innovation, and wellness and prevention, will be the focus of The Conference Board of Canada's Western Health Summit 2014.
The summit will feature the Conference Board's latest research on health care economics, interprofessional primary care teams, innovation in procurement, and workplace wellness.
