TORONTO, Dec. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - Since the launch of R.I.D.E. on November 24th, we have seen the OPP lay over 100 impaired driving charges and two high profile tragedies on our roads. With the first weekend of December here and many picking up adult beverages for office holiday parties, family get-togethers and other celebrations this season, arrive alive DRIVE SOBER & R.I.D.E. are hosting a Holiday Pre-Party at two The Beer Store locations on Saturday, December 3rd to remind everyone to plan ahead and drive sober.
arrive alive DRIVE SOBER's Holiday Pre-Parties will encourage The Beer Store customers to plan a safe ride home for themselves and their guests; arrive alive DRIVE SOBER will use home-hosting kits, quizzes, giveaways and contest to share their message. On Saturday from 10:30am until 2:30pm volunteers will interact with customers at two The Beer Store locations including the Stockyard Beer Store (2153 St. Clair Ave West) and the Etobicoke Beer Store (3560 Lakeshore BLVD W).
A final note from arrive alive DRIVE SOBER Executive Director Anne Leonard "It is important to remember that if you if you drink a lot and stay up late, you can still be over the limit the next day. Plan ahead to have a safe and happy holiday season". http://www.arrivealive.org/happyholidays/
