Media Advisory - Humber River Hospital celebrates 2 decades of improving patients' lives through Nocturnal Home Hemodialysis
TORONTO, Oct. 8, 2014 /CNW/ - Representatives from Humber River Hospital, the Ontario Renal Network, the Kidney Foundation of Canada, and the provincial Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care will mark two decades of enhancing lives for Ontarians through nocturnal home dialysis this Friday, October 10, 2014.
Among the program highlights will be an historical review of the program by Dr Andreas Pierratos of Humber River Hospital. Dr. Pierratos is considered an international expert in the field of Nocturnal Home Hemodialysis and has been recognized for his ground-breaking work with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the International Society for Hemodialysis.
As well, there will be a patient panel discussion discussing the patient experience with Nocturnal Home Hemodialysis.
