Media Advisory - Humber River Regional Hospital celebrates the Official Opening of the Murphy and Helen Hull Robotics Centre
TORONTO, June 4, 2012 /CNW/ - Mrs. Helen Hull, on behalf of her late husband Marian (Murphy) Hull, will join Humber River Regional Hospital (HRRH) President & CEO Dr. Rueben Devlin, HRRH Foundation President Heather Hurst, Foundation Chair Eddy Battiston, and members of the Hull family for the official opening of the Murphy and Helen Hull Robotics Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
The Centre was made possible by a $10 Million donation from Mr. and Mrs. Hull. Thanks to their gift, Humber River is the first community hospital in Canada to acquire and use a surgical robot. Representatives from Montreal's Minogue Medical, suppliers of the da Vinci surgical robot, will be on hand, and a senior HRRH surgeon will be on hand to demonstrate and answer questions.
