Media Advisory - Hyundai Canada teams up with Montreal Canadien P.K. Subban to launch new grassroots program that helps Quebec youth play hockey Français
MONTREAL, Sept. 5, 2012 /CNW/ - In an effort to help under-resourced Quebec youth get involved in our national pastime, Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. is embarking on an exciting new initiative that will help more than 250 kids from across the province get in the game of hockey. In partnership with KidSport Canada, and Montreal Canadiens Defenceman P.K. Subban, the auto manufacturer will launch the Quebec component of Hyundai Hockey Helpers on September 6, 2012.
Luc Paquette, Québec Zone Director for Hyundai Auto Canada, will reveal how the program will help kids learn valuable life skills and improve communities. P.K. Subban will share his personal experience as a young player, and Luc Denis of Sports Québec will address the growing financial barriers many Quebec families face when giving their children access to organized sports.
