Media Advisory - Important Update: Tabling of Commissioner's 2008-2009 annual
report on public-sector privacy issues postponed

OTTAWA , Oct. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The planned tabling of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada's 2008-2009 Annual Report to Parliament on the Privacy Act has been postponed.

Due to a printing problem, the tabling of the annual report, which was to take place on Thursday, October 29, 2009 , is now scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2009 .

A technical briefing for journalists has also been postponed.

A media advisory with details about the revised plans for both the tabling and the technical briefing will be issued on November 16, 2009 .
