Media Advisory - International Cancer Genome Consortium to launch new global initiative at this year's AACR Annual Meeting

TORONTO, April 14, 2016 /CNW/ - The International Cancer Genome Consortium (ICGC) will launch a new global initiative at this year's American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting in New Orleans on April 17. The new initiative will build upon the ICGC's years of expertise in mapping cancer genomes and take new steps to accelerate the pace of adoption for precision medicine.

Key leaders of the new initiative will be available for interview at the AACR Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 17 during the poster session (1 – 5 p.m. central time)
