OTTAWA, Aug. 19 /CNW/ - As the crisis continues to devastate the lives of 20 million people, Conrad Sauvé, the secretary general and CEO of the Canadian Red Cross, is in Pakistan to assess Canadian Red Cross emergency relief operations. Sauvé will be overseeing Canadian Red Cross distributions in Pakistan funded by Canadian donations.
Mr. Sauvé has participated in missions to assess Canadian Red Cross projects and initiatives around the world and oversees all Red Cross operations in Canada.
Sauvé will be available for media interviews from Pakistan.
