MONTREAL, May 15, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are cordially invited to attend the official launch of the future Éco-campus Hubert Reeves, with special guest, Mr. Hubert Reeves, this Friday, May 18, from 10:30 to 1 pm, on the future site, located at Alexander-Fleming Street and Alfred-Nobel Boulevard, within Technoparc Montréal's Saint-Laurent Campus.
This 20 acre campus, whose scale is unprecedented in Canada, will be dedicated to R&D companies active in the clean technologies sector.
Set in a natural, wooded environment, the Éco-campus Hubert Reeves will be developed following a vision consistent with sustainable development. Eight buildings covering an area of 70,000 m2 will be erected using cutting edge materials, local resources, and the latest clean technologies. These buildings will interweave through a pedestrian network and streams. The Éco-campus Hubert Reeves will become an international technology portal dedicated to showcasing innovative products, cutting edge clean technologies and knowledge transfers.
