Media Advisory - Jacques Ménard To Receive The Conference Board Of Canada's 2015 Honorary Associate Award Français
MONTRÉAL, Nov. 6, 2015 /CNW/ - L. Jacques Ménard, C.C., O.Q. BMO Nesbitt Burns Chairman and President of BMO Financial Group will be presented with The Conference Board of Canada's 2015 Honorary Associate award on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal.
The Honorary Associate award is The Conference Board of Canada's highest honour and is bestowed annually to an individual who has served both their organization and their country with distinction.
"As a national organization whose mission is to build a better future for Canadians, it is a privilege to recognize Jacques Ménard's enduring contributions, passion and commitment which have built an important legacy for his community, province and country," said Daniel Muzyka, President and CEO of The Conference Board of Canada.
Jacques Ménard serves as Chairman of Montreal International and Youth Fusion, and is a member of many Boards, including WestJet, Claridge Inc., Stingray Digital, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Montreal Alouettes, the Macdonald Stewart Foundation, the Mobilys Foundation and FIRST Robotics Quebec. Mr. Ménard is also Chancellor Emeritus of Concordia University, his alma mater.
A tête-à-tête interview with Jacques Ménard and Raymond Bachand, President, Institut du Québec and Strategic Advisor, Norton Rose Fulbright will immediately follow. Jacques Ménardֹ will share his thoughts on themes such as Montréal's economic future, education, community and what it takes to succeed in business.
