Media Advisory - Jane's Walk 2012: 50 walks to discover Montréal in 2 days - Photo opportunity
MONTREAL, April 4, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - On May 5 and 6, Jane's Walk will offer 50 free guided neighbourhood tours. Around 40 knowledgeable guides will lead groups of walkers through 12 boroughs or cities on the island of Montréal. The 2-hour walks explore neighbourhood history, nature in the city, urban development and public places.
We invite the media to the unveiling of the Jane's Walk 2012 program: a unique opportunity to meet with three of the guides leading walks this year.
This is the 4th year that the Montréal Urban Ecology Centre has hosted Jane's Walk in Montréal. Jane's Walk is also held in 17 countries and more than 100 cities, such as Barcelona, Berlin, Canberra, New York, Mumbai, Paris, Toronto, Saint Petersburg and Sao Paulo.
