MEDIA ADVISORY - Justice Centre to announce important update re: Bill 24 court challenge at Calgary press conference, April 5
CALGARY, April 4, 2018 /CNW/ - The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF.ca) will hold a press conference Thursday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m., in room Yorkshire 1 on the second floor of the Carriage House Inn, 9030 Macleod Trail South, Calgary. All media are welcome.
Justice Centre president John Carpay will be joined by his clients, including parents and school leaders who are challenging Alberta's Bill 24, An Act to Support Gay Straight Alliances. Bill 24 passed third reading in the Alberta Legislature on November 2, 2017.
During the press conference Mr. Carpay and the clients will provide statements regarding the status of the Justice Centre's court challenge and will take questions from media.
