OTTAWA, Aug. 15, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - On Thursday, August 17, 1,500 children and adults with developmental and/or physical disabilities will share priceless memories at the Capital Fair.
Along with their families and caregivers, guests will enjoy all the sights and attractions at the fair a day before it opens to the public as part of Special Needs Day. To ensure optimal fun and accessibility, this exclusive day offers midway rides at reduced speeds, smaller crowds, and volunteers to lift guests on and off rides.
It is expected to be the largest crowd Hydro Ottawa has had in its 17 years hosting the Special Needs Day community event.
August 17, 2017 - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Rideau Carleton Raceway – 4837 Albion Road
Special guests: Mayor Jim Watson and CEO Bryce Conrad
