MONTREAL, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Enviro-accès, a company of greenhouse gas (GHG) experts and one of only two companies in Canada to hold accreditation as a greenhouse gas validation and verification body from the Standards Council of Canada, is launching its Carbon CareTM certificate, which will officially recognize organizations' efforts to soundly manage their GHG emissions. It will also take the opportunity to award its very first Carbon CareTM certificate to National Bank of Canada.

At this launch, Ms. Manon Laporte, president and CEO of Enviro-accès, will demystify the process leading to the reduction and offsetting of GHG emissions and will explain the aims and requirements associated with the new certificate.
Mr. André Longpré, Manager, Building Engineering and Sustainable Development, at National Bank of Canada, will explain the steps that led to the Bank's obtention of this certificate.
