Media Advisory - Law Society of Ontario and the Women's Law Association of Ontario host workshop on unconscious bias Français
TORONTO, Nov. 8, 2018 /CNW/ - The Law Society of Ontario and the Women's Law Association of Ontario will be hosting a workshop entitled "Recruitment, Retention and Advancement: Countering Unconscious Bias" at Osgoode Hall in Toronto on November 14.
The session will be led by Tana Turner of Turner Consulting Group. Attendees will learn about the concept of unconscious bias and the different forms it takes. They will also be given practical tips about how to counteract its effects on recruitment, retention and advancement in legal workspaces.
Members of the legal professions, the public and the media are invited to attend.
