Media Advisory - Leaders from business and industry meet in Montreal to discuss workplace mental health
MONTREAL, Feb. 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Mental health has a significant impact on every workplace. The impact is seen in absenteeism, productivity, engagement and ultimately, the bottom line. The role of the workplace in mental health is also becoming clearer. On January 16, 2013, The National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety was released. It provided a framework to reduce risks and potential liability related to workplace mental health, and to promote a mentally healthy workplace.
