Media Advisory - Leading economist to speak to unnerving reality of the fiscal state of US and how it will affect Canada
CALGARY, Nov. 26, 2012 /CNW/ - "The United States is bankrupt, flat broke. Thanks to accounting that would make Enron blush, America's insolvency goes far beyond what our leaders are disclosing." These are the words of Professor Laurence Kotlikoff of Boston University, author of The Clash of Generations and one of the world's most recognized economists.
Media are invited to a press conference where Professor Kotlikoff will explain how the United States is in worse fiscal shape than is commonly believed and what Canada needs to do now to protect itself, and our energy industry, from fiscal shockwaves from the south.
