Media Advisory - Let's Talk Science and the Canadian Space Agency launch their collaboration
TORONTO, Nov. 16, 2012 /CNW/ - Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, Let's Talk Science President Bonnie Schmidt and CBC Quirks & Quarks host Bob McDonald will be at the Science Teachers' Association of Ontario conference in Toronto on November 17, 2012 to launch a new collaboration devoted to excite and motivate students towards science.
Speakers will present a variety of specialized projects and programs related to Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield's mission to the International Space Station such as a first of its kind radiation action project for high school students available on the Let's Talk Science's website, ExploreCurioCity.org. Opportunities for students to interact with Hadfield and other space experts over the course of his mission will also be revealed.
