HALIFAX, June 9, 2014 /CNW/ - The Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Teachers Union will hold an awards presentation and reception in honour of the 2014 recipient of the Lieutenant Governor's Teaching Award.

His Honour Brigadier-General the Honourable J.J. Grant, CMM, ONS, CD (Ret'd), Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia will host the ceremony with Nova Scotia Teachers Union president Shelley Morse at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2014 at Government House, 1451 Barrington Street, Halifax.
