Media Advisory - London Health Sciences Nursing Cuts: Public Invited to Open

LONDON, ON, March 8 /CNW/ - Members of the community of London are invited to discuss health-care cuts at an open forum being held at the Lamplighter Inn, London on Sunday, March 21.
Organized by members of the Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) and the Myeloma Support Group, the open forum will focus on the ways in which cuts to nurses will affect care and the community's health.
Community members will have the opportunity to learn more about local health-care cuts, the impact on patient care, and to discuss their experiences and ideas to stop the cuts. The nurses have also invited local MPPs and representatives from the Local Health Integration Network to attend.
The open forum is free to participants and will run from 2 to 4 pm.
