Media advisory - Ma Zone D: "On Stage with Simple Plan and Desjardins" contest closing show

MONTREAL, April 10, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Group invites media representatives to attend the closing ceremony of the "On Stage with Simple Plan and Desjardins" contest, Saturday April 13, 7:00 pm at Théâtre Telus. During this special event, Desjardins will unveil the grand prize winner as selected by a jury composed of representatives of Desjardins and members of Simple Plan. The winner will receive a prize of $5 000 as well as an additional $5 000 to be awarded to their chosen community project.

During the show, the three finalists, Elie Gagné, Arielle Prud'homme and Jonathan Landry, will have the opportunity to showcase their talent before an audience filled with family members, friends and fans of the Desjardins Ma Zone D Facebook page intended for teens from 13 to 17 years of age. Simple Plan will be performing as part of this special concert to honour the efforts the participants have put into the creation of their original song and in supporting their community project. This is a great opportunity to celebrate young, up and coming artists!
