OTTAWA, March 14, 2012 /CNW/ - The Public Service Alliance of Canada invites journalists to register for a pre-budget media briefing on the federal budget and the public service.
PSAC's national president, John Gordon, will release a pre-budget position paper and introduce public service workers to talk about the work they do in employment insurance processing centres, veteran's affairs, food inspection and search and rescue. We'll also hear from Canadians who rely on those services.
The briefing will take place on Wednesday, March 21st in room 253D, Centre Block, on Parliament Hill. Breakfast will be served at 8:45 a.m. and the briefing begins at 9:00 a.m.
