Media Advisory - Media Conference - Arrests of child pornography offenders

ORILLIA, ON, March 9 /CNW/ - The Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet has laid numerous charges in connection with a co-ordinated, province-wide child pornography investigation.

OPP Deputy Commissioner J.V.N. (Vince) HAWKES will announce details about the investigation and will be joined by representatives of Provincial Strategy police partners, who were instrumental in bringing this investigation to a successful conclusion.

One-on-one interviews will be available following the conference. Broadcast quality video interviews and b-roll, and background information will be available at www.opp.ca for non-attending media agencies once the media conference begins.
