LONDON, ON, Jan. 17, 2013 /CNW/ - The South West Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) is bringing together local health care providers to update residents on what programs and services are available for older people and their families in West Middlesex.
Presentations from:
- Darren Micallef from Sprucedale Care Centre in Strathroy will share some Long-Term Care Home facts and myths
- Tania Mulligan from VON Middlesex will discuss what programs and services are available for older adults
- Karen Johnson from London Health Sciences Centre's Geriatric Mental Health Program will provide an update on how Behavioural Supports Ontario is helping older adults with challenging behaviours
