Media advisory - Media opportunity - 430 Squadron deploys to Afghanistan

VALCARTIER GARRISON, QC, July 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to the departure of 430 Tactical Helicopter Squadron's (430 THS) commanding officer and part of his unit this Monday, July 19, for Kandahar, where they will take part in a nine month tour.

    
    When:  Monday, July 19, 2010, at 4:00 p.m.
    Where: Valcartier Garrison (Quebec)
    

Lieutenant-Colonel Erick Simoneau, who will take command of the Canadian Helicopter Force - Afghanistan (CHF-Afg), will be available for interviews, as will some of his subordinates.
