TORONTO, May 8, 2012 /CNW/ - Environment Canada will conduct a technical briefing for media on the upcoming summer severe weather season in Ontario on Wednesday, May 9.
Consecutive briefings will be offered first in English, with Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Geoff Coulson, and then in French with Warning Preparedness Meteorologist Peter Kimbell.
Also in attendance at both briefings will be Philippe Geoffrion, Emergency Management Ontario, to talk about Ontario's Emergency Public Warning System.
Teleconferencing will be available for media who are unable to attend the event of their choice.
