Media Advisory - Member of Parliament Jacques Gourde Will Make an Announcement About Arts and Culture in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

OTTAWA, July 10, 2012 /CNW/ - On behalf of the Honourable James Moore, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages, Jacques Gourde, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Works and Government Services, for Official Languages and for the Economic Development Agency for the Regions of Quebec, will announce support for arts and cultural projects that will strengthen the economy in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region on Wednesday.

Mr. Gourde will also be available to comment on the consultations on the next phase of the Government's Roadmap for Canada's Linguistic Duality.
