Media Advisory - Metro Toronto Convention Centre celebrates new $6 million kitchen renovation marking the completion of its $29 million revitalization project
More than 500 guests will enjoy MTCC's interactive kitchen tours, new Ontario wines and rickshaw rides from north to south buildings
TORONTO, Oct. 16, 2013 /CNW/ - Media is invited to participate in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's (MTCC) deliciously fun interactive tours of its new $6 million renovated kitchen, which marks the completion of the venue's $29 million, three-year revitalization project.
MTCC CEO Barry Smith and Richard Willett, vice president of Food and Beverage at MTCC will be available for interviews during the media tours, which will include: selecting off the main conveyor belt a perfect sampling of beef short ribs with a delicate beet chip garnish; wine sampling; self-serving and flourishing a slice of pheasant pate; rolling chocolate truffles in coco powder and enjoying a rickshaw ride to the South Building to view newly appointed rooms 401 and 501.
More than 500 guests will attend an event that follows to celebrate the kitchen reveal and tour the new conference spaces.
