Media Advisory - Minister Alexander to welcome new Canadians at citizenship ceremony in Dartmouth Français
DARTMOUTH, NS, Oct. 10, 2014 /CNW/ - To celebrate Canada's Citizenship Week 2014, Canada's Citizenship and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander will attend a special citizenship ceremony at the Dartmouth North Community Centre where he will swear in 50 new Canadians and highlight the success of the government's changes to the Citizenship Act.
Canada's Citizenship Week (October 13-19) is a celebration of Canadian history, traditions, culture, values and pride. It provides Canadians with an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Canadian, including our rights and responsibilities.
