Media Advisory - Minister Ambrose to announce funding for innovative health research projects

EDMONTON, Aug. 19, 2014 /CNW/ - Representatives from the media are invited to attend a press event at the University of Alberta. The Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health, will join Dr. Lorne Babiuk, Vice-President of Research at the University of Alberta, to announce research funding for health research scientists at the University of Alberta.

The event will highlight a new five-year grant that aims to improve the preservation of cells and tissues for use in transplantation and surgical procedures.
